Rafting on the Cetina river lasts between 3 and 4 hours and is organized on a 9 km long part of the river, from the village of Penšići to the restaurant “Radmanove mlinice”. Due to its ideal position in the very heart of Central Dalmatia, almost halfway between the towns of Split (20 km to the north) and Makarska (35 km to the south), as well as the magnificent beauty and contrast of the sea, the river and the mountains surrounding it, Omiš is the perfect destination for all adventure lovers.
On the starting (calm) part of the river your guide is going to teach you about behavior rules and basic rowing techniques. On the scale ranging from I to VI the river got the mark II to III and two extremely rough places are passed on foot.
Rafting on the Cetina river you’ll meet light and moderate water rapids, deep calm lakes, ideal for having a refreshment, banks covered with rich vegetation – making tunnels of branches, impressive rocks and caves. Children older than 8 can take part in rafting only if accompanied by their parents. If ordered, it is possible to organize a dinner in a local wine-cellar with home-made wine and gastronomical specialities of the ancient Principality of Poljica.

This section you will raft along is about 10km long and will allow you explore the beautiful Cetina canyon from a complete different perspective. During the trip we will stop for swimming and cliff jumping which is both optional. You will be about 3 hours on the river paddling through breathtaking scenery in pure nature.
The highlight of this trip is a cave with fresh spring water, stalactites and stalagmites, entering through a waterfall and swim through a crystal clear lake. After the reactions of previous guests, this is perhaps the most beautiful and most amazing part of this trip.
After passing under a waterfall you will enter the first, from daylight magically lighted, room and swim about 12 meters through fresh spring water. Then you will enter another area full of stalactites, stalagmites with a small stream of fresh water. In the middle of the cave are several small lakes fed by tiny waterfalls containing crystal clear drinking water. At the end of the cave you will find another waterfall that covers the exit gently just like a curtain. It is the perfect spot to take some pictures!
Then comes the second part of the activity and you will paddle your way through the beautiful and exciting rapids for 5 kilometres. Get in position and prepare yourself to get wet, but don’t worry, this river is perfect for beginners. We make another stop in the canyon “Tisne Stine”. Here the brave ones can jump from 4 to 5,5 metres into 6 meters deep water.
Once the descent is completed you can take some time to have some snacks and to look at the pictures and make a toast to your magical adventure on the river Cetina!
Our departure times are set to avoid the most crowded times in high season to make your adventure even more memorable.
